germany (2008)

Bretzel, anyone? Germany was a surprise for me. I never expected this country, once beleaguered by war, to rebound so spectacularly on the tourism front. I have never seen so many beautiful sites that many of the history books leave out or neglect. To experience Germany is to experience the best in life! .The German hospitality is second to none, and the effort taken to reach some of these spots is well-rewarded in the images I collected and am able to share with you. To Germany and to you, I say "Danke".

When we landed in Salzburg for our 3 night stay it was as if someone transported us into the land of the Gingerbread folk! Never have I seen grass so green, mountains so misty blue, and waters so crystal clear! It was if we had landed in a fairytale itself. If you want a taste of fantasy, look no further than ethereal Austria, a nation steeped in beauty!
