Belgium was a treat in more ways than its delectable chocolate. I loved the meandering walkways of Bruges over stone bridges and past quaint shops, the gothic architecture of Ghent, the hip feel of Mechelen, and the incredible bluebell forest of the Hallerbos. There was so much to explore and my few days there couldn't capture nearly enough. I present a few of my more memorable moments.
For this trip, I only had 3 days to explore this amazingly beautiful country (and more trips are in the offing!). Thus, I roamed the streets and back alleys (and Red Light District!) of Amsterdam, the wondrous flower gardens of Keukenhof, and the stately windmills of Zaanse Schans. I am already in the planning stages of my next trip!
