my most cherished photo of the china bridge (see below) was published in one of national geographic's coffee table books, entitled 'daily peace: 365 days of renewal' (october 27, 2015). the photo graces the january 17 page. it is thrilling beyond all that my first published piece made it to the hands of such a renowned and esteemed group. excited!

I have had camera in hand since a young tot. I am most experienced with film cameras and shoot primarily in the old analog style (without editing), but with the dawning of the digital age I have gradually (and grudgingly) been adding that medium to my wheelhouse. Even my camera-phone gets in on the action! I am a traveller first and a photographer second. I shoot because I love to do it, love to capture memories, and I am fortunate that my clients love what I do and how I do it. Each photograph bears its own special story of the where, when, and how I shot it. I read somewhere that a good photograph is like a return ticket to a moment that would otherwise be forgotten. That is what I aim to achieve.
Start exploring! If you see anything you like, please contact me. You want that color photo done in Black and White? Done! You want it vertical instead of horizontal., larger or smaller? I'll see what I can do! I can be found in Aisle 7 at the Old Strathcona Farmer's Market off Whyte Avenue in Edmonton, AB (open every Saturday from 8am to 3pm), or use the contact page on this site. Check out Pricing page for sizes available and pricing and forms of payment.
All photos 12" x 18" size or smaller are printed up on archival photo paper at a wet lab (old fashioned way). Anything larger than that is printed up on archival photo paper using dry lab methods (inkjet printer).
All photos are copyright protected. Unauthorized reproducing of these photographs will be strongly no-no'ed (and it's bad for your karma).

China, 2008 "China Bridge"
This shot is, and always will be, my greatest achievement. It has been published in National Geographic's "Daily Peace: 365 Days of Renewal" hardcover photo book in October 2015. Taken with a Nikon D40 camera, no filters, no enhancement, not even a tripod. Hope you enjoy it! Please note: this one looks really great at all sizes, even the largest at 24" x 36". Also looks stunning in Black and White or Sepia, and I also shot it with film (see my China page).
